Turnkey PIV-I Credentialing

Trusted Identity Cards

Trusted Identity Cards

We make it simpler to deploy, easier to manage, and less costly to maintain a modern credentialing program.

FTI helps organizations or all sizes deploy, manage, and leverage state-of-the-art cryptographic credentials. Our credentials combine the practical benefits of a physical identification badges with trusted digital certificates so you can secure your office and your inbox with the same credential. Our credentials are built to the widely adopted PIV-I standard, and contain digital certificates that are cross-certified to the Federal Public Key Infrastructure, meaning your credential can be easily validated and trusted by partners outside your trust boundary - including Federal Government partners like the TSA and DHS among others.

Trust Verification

Trust Verification

FTI has developed advanced cybersecurity software that allows you to easily manage user identities and credentials. Unlike other “walled-garden” identity solutions, our software makes it easy for outside organizations and government agencies to quickly validate a presented credential in real-time using our published certificate revocation list (CRL) and online certificate status protocol (OCSP) services. Our secure identity management system allows organizations to manage the credential lifecycle, and makes it easy to revoke a credential that is no longer needed, is lost or stolen. With FTI’s system you don’t have to sacrifice control and customization to get a universally trusted credential.

Logical Access Control

Logical Access Control

FTI PIV-I cards can be used with modern logical access control systems (like Microsoft Active Directory) to login to secure networks and systems. The certificates on the PIV-I can be used to sign and encrypt emails and PDFs, as well as login to laptops, web portals, and applications. Need to login to a secure federal system or network? FTI has you covered.

Physical Access Control

Physical Access Control

FTI PIV-I cards can be used to control physical access to facilities. FTI offers PIV-I cards that include standard PIV-I 13.56 MHz antenna (“dual interface”) as well as those with the added 125 kHz interface (“tri-interface”). We offer the cards pre-programmed with the desired facility code, or we can provide the equipment necessary for customers to program the 125 kHz capability themselves. Finally you can use one credential at the guard desk, door scanners, and your laptop!

Credentialing you control.

Credentialing you control.

For many organizations, bringing in outside personnel to handle enrollment and issuance of credentials would be unworkable: few organizations could afford the cost of that resource, and having to request a special visit to enroll new staff or replace a lost card would be too cumbersome. Plus, almost every organization already has at least one staff member who performs credentialing duties. As a result, FTI developed an approach that permits organizations to identify the appropriate personnel within their own members to issue Federally-cross-certified PIV-I credentials. FTI trains them to enroll applicants and issue credentials using a workstation that we provide, including software that we developed and support. The result is the clean, replicable, low-cost approach to issuing and managing PIV-I credentials that we propose here.
